AEEG
Acronym for Autorità per l’Energia Elettrica e il Gas (Authority for Electric Power and Gas) constituted based on law 481/95: it is the sector government body responsible for regulating and monitoring the Italian power market.

Absorption chiller
Chiller fed by a hot fluid in which thermal energy transformation into cooling energy is made possible by the use of a cooling absorption cycle. Such a cycle is based upon state transformations of the cooling fluid combined with the substance used as an absorber.

Adequate Customer
Physical or juridical person capable to enter supply agreements with any producer, dealer, or wholesaler both in Italy and abroad. All gas users are entitled to be qualified as adequate customers, and among these, those having a VAT number.
